Last race of the year

Last race of the summer and I decided to get my 10 second timeslip.
All runs were through the muffler.

1st pass with a 50 shot of nitrous
11.36@116.3 with a 1.48 60ft
On husky 94 pump gas!

2nd pass with 125hp shot turning the n20 on at 2500rpm
11.01@120.26 with a 1.46 60ft
110 octane fuel

3rd pass with 125hp shot turning n20 on at 2000rpm
10.97@120.26 with a 1.42 60ft
Lifted both tires!

4th pass with 125hp shot at wide open throttle
11.08@118.7 with a 1.40 60ft!

The car leaves the line crooked so I guess I have to get a anti-roll bar.

I also now have to get lower numerical gears. I am crossing the strip at 6000rpm and my stockblock 400 runs out of power at 5500rpm. Maybe a set of 3.55's would keep me in the powerband longer and give me more top end.
Hoping for 10.50's next summer with a 175hp shot!

Re: Last race of the year

Can you fit a taller tire in there? That'd be the easy way to gear swap lol.

Re: Last race of the year

I have used 28x12.5 et streets before and they are slightly larger but they do rub the fenders around corners.

So no, I can't fit a bigger tire.

Gear swaps aren't that bad with a 9" anyway.
