Manual rack options

I've done a few searches and most are recommending the PA Racing kit, which is no longer available.

I'm contemplating doing the swap this winter. The goal is a tubular k-member with stock arms and a manual rack. Mostly looking to clean up the engine bay and save a few lbs. Are they any options besides spending the $$$ on the Spohn stuff?

Are you sure PA doesn't have it anymore? I'd talk to Jason if you haven't already.

I have a PA rack. I will warn you that you will lose 1/3rd your turning radius with a rack.

You're right, I found it. I was using paracing.net as the address and they only have Mustang parts.

What makes these racks worth the $600 compared to $200 or so that I am used to seeing?

i was looking on the website and it's a little confusing on the pricing. that $589 is for a complete kit, my assumption is that this kit is for retrofitting an existing kmember to accept the rack, as well as includes the steering shaft stuff. basically everything to install. the rack by itself is only $289 or something. I would seriously give Jason a call as he may put together a package deal and he's super easy to work with.

Ok so I think I have it figured out. The rack is around $200. The $600 version is more expensive because it's got the bump steer kit, mounting bolts and steering shaft.

i bought everything from racecraft and welded the brackets on myself. having a rack n a spool my car doesn't turn worth a ****. luckily its a drag car. it turns on the track n off the track. if its a street car i would suggest a rack n pinion
