But definitely won't be the last! What a blast, even if I wasn't competitive.
I'm only sorry that it took me this many years to get to the track.

Eibach Sportlines, Koni Yellow's, J&M Hot Part strut plates, BMR adj panhard bar, control arm relocaters, and strut tower link, and a wonderbar, Alston sub-frame connectors. Other than that, it's just a fresh front-end rebuild with Moog parts.
I'm going to do the GC weight jacks, and Global West Del-A-Lum lower control arm bushings soon though.

Good for you. It is a blast, and the time to start was 10, 20, 30, 40 years ago! My $0.02 on mods though is forget them for now. Unless you're already an ace driver it'll take you some time to be able to drive the car as it is anywhere near it's limits. Keep your money for gas, tires (best you can get for class) and entry fees. When you can drive the car at its limit then make it better than you and catch up again. And when you think you are at the car's limit get a known top driver if you can to drive it to make sure. That can be a humbling experience when someone who's never driven your car before is faster than you. What class do you drive in? What club?
Absolutely! The mods I have done, were already planned for just repair, auto-x came as an idea later, I completely blame Big Mods. I did copy the 18"x10.5" all the way around C5 Corvette wheels with 2" spacers, and C5 Vette brakes behind them. I'm running Nitto NT-05's, and they worked great, though I wished I'd done 295's all around instead of just the rears (I did 275 fronts, fearing that they would rub)
I used to do very well controlling the car on street tires, and had my drift-control down pat, but with those big sticky Nitto's, I've got to do some re-learning!
The mods I mentioned were mostly to drop the rear equal to the front drop that the Eibachs gave...still way too high. The bushings, only because I'll have the front-end apart for the weight jacks.
Lately, any spare money I have goes into trying to keep up with the maintenance, as this car is my DD, and the "streets" in Tucson are nasty.
I'd also like to do a new engine, as the poor 5.0 valve seals are hammered, and I'll be damned if I rebuild a 305.
I'm running CAM class in the Arizona Border Region.

That course looks to be set up well and easily understood. I have seen some courses that really required several walk throughs just to k.ow where to go!
Definitely a nice course, and it was very roomy with a chance to use some speed.
