son of a...

Well, It was supposed to be a simple swap...putting my headers on, then driving down to ER....I got all but one of the studs out of the exhaust manifolds, and then stripped the last bolt down. Of course its in the worst possible spot , and i cant drill it out without pulling the engine...

sigh

I guess ill be at the next gathering

I'm sorry to hear that...

Totally cracks me up to see how hard these guys work on their cars like last minute, and some stupid thing screws up and they can't go. I don't know what it is...lack of time, no funds or no parts until last minute or what.

Wish I was there ......I was at a lovely wedding in the country sunshine.

oh man this work is slow going! im still not done.

I got that bolt out of the head, but then i broke my dipstick tube off in the block...I got that out but then I broke an exhaust mount off of the frame....hehe good thing I dont have a job right now, Id never get this done.
