well... my black t/a is undergoing a few mods/improvements here in about a week...it starts this coming monday!

yanking out my old crappy cam which is basically a stock cam...and replacing it with a custom grind comp cam 280 duration and .485 lift on a 106 lobe sep...should sound like she's highly pissed off
while im at it,im going to swap the stock quadrajet intake,infavor of an edelbrock alum streemaster single plane high rise..and top it off with either my 650 holley double pumper...or tony's 600 holley double pumper..depending on which we can get to run best i guess..
also depending on funding..im going to try and throw a gear drive in while i got the thing ripped apart. next up is exhaust, im buying myself new headers and y pipe for xmas,havent decided on shortys i had before which chevymad now owns...or to go with full length's. and last but not least im swapping rearends.. yes ive totally foobarred mine up,its howling like crazy and is about ready to blow up...so for xmas my parents are buying me a 3.42 posi disc rear from a 94-95 z28 i cant remember which year it is,along with that there gonna get me a new tq convertor..130 bucks gets me a jegs brand 2200-2600 stall convertor..cant beat the price....sometime after xmas im gonna buy a b&m shifter.


and in the summmer the ole girl gets a new paintjob.

Since you are going through all of the troubble of changing the cam and intake, you had better match the rpm's of the cam to the intake! The single plane intakes are for rpm's up to 8000 + rpms. I think a dual plane would better fit a cam for both low end torque and efficency. Sure you want it to sound bad a$$, but fast and sounding good is a much better combo! I know that you can get a great setup for the edlebrock rpm intake with a cam to match for great hp and fuel mph.

 

hehe umm...my single plane intake has a powerband of 2500 to 7k exactly where my motor will run...dont worry ive got everything matched up pretty good...it should be a screaming sumbich!

btw anybody got a high flow fuel pump? either for block mount or electric....im needing one. my stock pump aint gonna kut the mustard hehe...

if i can hook this beast im hoping for a 12.99 or better

 

I've got the fuel pump but it comes with a programmable 4-barrel Holley fuel injection system. $800. I used it two weeks.

Sorry, the Z is still up for sale. It's in the auto trader, asking 12900$ I'm in no hurry to sell it but am willing to part with her for the right price I really want a typhoon! Best of all worlds! all wheel drive and I'm sure all i have to do to make it move is add larger injectors, adjustible waste gate, and burn a chip. Just a better family car than the Z. Guess I"m supposed to be grown up too

If I could have the all wheel drive, i would have the best of all worlds My supercharger is awsome, 2 wheel drive.....wish i had all wheel drive

Since when is getting better tires not a performance modification? I couldn't get the tires I wanted in 15", so I had to buy 16" wheels. How do you know my car is slow? lol ummm dude shut the bloody hell up about what i do and dont do with my car...you dont know me...nor know anything about me except for what you may have read...that doesnt qualify as knowing me. and uhh yeah only reason it went to the crusher is becuase i bought the black car...hmm,it had t tops,and full interior already in the color i wanted..WOW imagine that wonder why i kept the t top black car...the tpi for me was nothing but an experiment...and for those who do and do not know..it did run on my 350...albeit it ran like dirty ***. not too mention everybody was on my *** to get it running... lets see yyou take a 82 T/A and convert it too TPI with a stock harness 70 foot long...ask brandon he knows..EVEN brandon wouldnt mess with it. why screw with it..when i can throw a carb on it? and get better performance,and easier tuning. makes a bunch of sense to me...again how would you know that im too stupid to build my motor ? and it apears you be the troll dude... id lov eto hear your explanation of how exactly i am a troll... *waiting ever so patiently*
