New guy saying hey!
Hey all,
After a long time of wanting one, I am finally the proud owner of an F-body as of yesterday!
. Bought a '91 Firebird 305 TBI, with a 5-speed and t-tops. It's a project car for now, but I sure do get tired of watching third gens get neglected, and therefore, plan to put some TLC into this thing.
This site should be a great resource!

Welcome. The only bad thing I have to say about this site is that it gives you way too many ideas! Not near enough time or money to do all the cool things I have learned about and seen here.

Re: New guy saying hey!

Yeah, I'm a pretty damn big Maiden fan actually (I even have an Eddie tattoo, lol).
And I'll have some pics of this thing up tomorrow for sure. It's in POS status at the moment, but with time and money, things will change
Re: New guy saying hey!
I live around the Seattle-Tacoma metro area, as evidenced in the wet roads in the picture I've attached!

There she is, in her project car-like status. She's in desperate need of a new paint job and minor body work, but nothing too bad. Eventually, I'd love to do an engine/trans swap, but the TLC comes first!

Welcome to TGO. I have an 89 RS that also needs paint, and very little body work. I've been working on brakes and suspension, but have plans for motor/trans swap down the road. Like you said, "TLC first."

I actually moved down here to get away from those constant wet roads you speak of, but also the constant traffic jams everywhere!!!

Anyway, have fun on the site,.....you'll learn a lot just by reading and asking questions.

. I'm pretty sure Seattle still ranks rather high on worst commute time lists :/.Yeah, I'm already learning a lot that I need to know in the engine swap forum

Welcome to the site! You could say we have a few things in common. I just recently bought another 3rd gen myself, (about 1 month ago) I also lived in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area for 40 years. (just moved to Oregon 3 years ago)
