Ok guys, I'm thinking about getting a new(er) car

And was wondering what you guys think I should get. Here are the options:

1) 1996 Cadillac Eldorado
2) 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora (both of those in either ruby red or white with gold pearl)
3) 91-92 Camaro convertible in Teal with a grey interior

Which ever car I get will be my daily driver, and will replace my '67 Cutlass Supreme (which I'm going to sell or trade for 2K).

LOL. I'm with the majority here, but Caddy's are pretty nice. Or how about my 89?

You've got a Camaro. Get something practical. No point in duplicating efforts.

so what if he has a camaro... when he puts the bigblock in it he'll need something with better mileage... Camaro would just be better for his health as well

2) 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora (both of those in either ruby red or white with gold pearl)

Go for that. Olds are pretty nice cars and the Aurora's have good gas mileage. You already have a Camaro you don't really need another one do you?

Lance, if I were you man, I would go with the Eldo, they are such sweet cars, and they have quite a bit of power for their class also. Those Northstar V8s are awesome motors, did you by any chance see Tim Allen and Jon Moss' Caddy? Over 400HP Deville!! One bad *** car. Let us know what you decide!

It kinda depends on what you are going for.. if you like/love driving the Camaro and are just getting another car for gas mileage reasons then get the Camaro, but if you are looking for a replacement for the Camaro as a driver then buy the Caddy.
Also, you said you can't make copies of that music video, whats the name of it? I need/want some parts of it for the CascadeCrew video I am making!

What ever car I get will be a replacement for my gas guzzling '67 Olds, not my Camaro (which I just drove for the first time this year on Wednesday). The mileage on any of the ones I listed is acceptable, certainly can't be worse than the 6 mpg I'm getting now. One of the biggest things pushing this is that I am back with my girlfriend again, and it is a 35 to 45 minute drive just to get to her house. I'll let you guys know what I decide.

Doug, as to the video, it is Brooks & Dunn's "Rock My World, Little Country Girl" (which you would know if you would just read my website )

Thanks Lance... now any clue where I can get a copy of the video? I need it for educational purposes (seriously!)... and I don't really want to watch CMT all day for the next month.

Lance - My Caddy was an 94 with the Northstar and it got anywhere from 15-19 MPG. Fast as heck, too!

I vote for the Camaro for several reasons, not the least of which is: IT WOULD KICK MAJOR *** ! Also, my mother just dumped her '98 Caddy w/Northstar 'cause over the course of 2 years she has spent over $10,000 in repairs! Secondly, with GM shutting down Olds, will parts availability become an issue for a newer Oldsmobile? Ah hell, just get the Camaro!!!

Lance, I'd stay away from the FWD cars. Once they get out of warranty, the cost of repairs can go up in a hurry. They are almost impossible to work on.
