Is there plans for another local gathering?? I'm ready!

I just know I've passed some of you up on the road. Time to meet in person. Besides, I'm going thru withdrawls!! I miss you guys.

And I want to see Demon's new Firebird!
Are there any plans in the works?

I know about 4th of July at Demon's but that's on a Wednesday and sucks major for us career peeps!

you better still make it summer or I'ma cry...

no plans for the bird... after awhile all parts i need from it go straight into the camaro and it gets parted out

or I'll keep a few parts for the rest of the birdie folk
Jesse has something planned too dearie... a week before the 4th for those who can't make it the 4th

but I'm hoping the 4th will be a big one... this one i'ma post about tomorrow when I get my details for it finalized

I really am looking forward to the 4th! But I'd also like to get together and cruise or something. I've got a lifter that's acting up and I have this feeling I'm going to have to replace the 305 sooner versus later.

Jesse-Cool. Lay the plans on me. Sorry I haven't been around much. Since I started my new job, I've been working a lot and it seems like I've been out of town every weekend in the past few months. This is the first weekend I've been home in I don't know how long. So, if you are planning something local, that would be great. I don't trust my car anywhere out of the state right now.

Edit: I see you just made a thread about it, Jesse. Thanks!

Hey Summer! Nice to see ya back on board! It was getting kinda lonely without other gals over here. How do you like your new job, and what are you doing these days?

Aaron-You know the 305's replacement will be a 350. I'm just looking forward to the rebuild. That's the funnest part about a new engine, IMO.

Steph-Sorry for having left you to the wolves There's a lot of new members for you to meet. A bunch of great guys if I do say so myself. What have I been doing lately, you ask? Well, I started my new job about 2.5 months ago as a head hunter. I employ people, mainly in labor and manufacturing environments. My territory spans from Lynnwood to Burlington. It's mad busy right now and I had a ton to learn but I love it. I'll have to share some of my interview situations with you guys/gals when we get together. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff people tell me!

Lately, everyone's getting married to I've been to Grays Harbor, Moses Lake, Medford and Bend(Oregon kicks major tail!). We're putting the house on the market next June and plan to move to Gold Beach, OR.

And, we're going to start trying to have kidlets here in the next few months. The clock is ticking!

Hope I get to see you soon! I really have missed the gals in our crew.

Hey you all, I don't know if Lance Blue502 has shared this with any of the Crew, but our club (CRCC) is putting on our 2nd annual All Camaro Show in September in Wilsonville @ Wilsonville Cheverolet and we have sucessfully secured the Camaro Legends Tour for our show. Anyone interested? All generations welcome with many trophies to enter for.

I don't know what we have going on for the 4th yet. I'll have to see about that one, Demon.

I've been so wrapped up at work, I haven't been getting off until 6pm some nights and not getting home until 7pm with my commute. I've been covering for 2 people while they're out on 2 month sabbaticals, and I'm pretty wiped out when I get off work. I can't wait till my sabbatical gets closer; it's a fully paid 2 month perk from Intel, after 7 years of service. I'll be eligible January 2002! WAAAAAA HOOOOO!

Hmm, I dont have a Camaro anymore, but, I might be able to make that just to hang out and check out the sweet camaros! That would be a good place to have a more than a mini gathering!

Last years show kicked *** ! Wilsonville Cheverolet can be seen by I-5 and we brought traffic to a crawl, and this years is going to be a showstopper. They're clearing out their whole fleet, 4 acres of it, just for this show. We're pretty pumped about it. I posted a link to the show pics last year here but have lost it since then. I took some pretty awsome pics of just the stuff I liked. For some reason 98% of the cars were red!

Yeah, I remember those pics, I had them all saved on my old computer, but, the HD died on me.. so.. yeah. Wasnt there a Jeff Gordon 82-84 Z28 in your pics? Because, there is a car JUST like that in the Autotraders...

Are you serious?!?!?!?! I work for a very well known automotive and defense contracor and I started out at 2 weeks of vacation a year and I only accumulate 4 lousy hours anually. Yes, that's three stupid weeks a year after 10 freaking years of service! It's always bugged me but now I'm totally PO.

Dead serious. Intel employs something like 6000 people in Oregon alone! Intel has many nice benifits, even after you retire. The neat thing is every 7 years ya getta do it all over again! When stock prices were good and it split, you got to by it a whatever the price split at too. I can remember a time when it was $140 a share, not long ago. We are a great diverse culture of people, I must admit. Got to be to maintain # 1 in competitive standards.
