This is how my night went'Nice story'

Well it started with me going to the mall with some buddies to meeet someone. He pass' us in the parking so i do a donut to turn around and suddenly i loose all power stearing while the tires are still smoking. So i pull over in the parking and check my car out.So here we are my car and one of my friends Supercharged 5.O Mustang"sweet car btw"i look under my car and see that every single belt on my car has come off.Later on a find one on a sidewalk 10 feet from where it happened. So we are waiting for a tow truck cause my belts were trashed, when another friend pulls up in a third gen Camaro with a built 327.He then goes to the next parking lot and does a 200ft burnout. An 87 GTA a Supercharged Mustanf and a Camaro with a cowl hood are all parked in the parking lot.Kinda of a nice little story. We calculated that if a cop caught him doing the burnout he could have had a total fine of over 9000$..24$ per foot per tire plus 500$ for the first 10 ft.I had belts put on 1 month ago so the dealership is doing it all for free. But it sucked i had all four belts laying on the road.Maybe my donut was a little harsh.Have a good night

What did the tow cost? I might have gotten you a lower rate. If you paid more than $40 you got the shaft.

Sounds pretty malicious to me. Kinda like the mechanic was out to lunch or something and forgot to tighten everything down. Screw those dealerships. We always by our replacement parts from GM but put them in ourselves.

hey 87RS402. i keep my camaro out at a body shop in central point and i want to bring it back to medford finally now that i have it looking good. the reason i kept it out there was that when i bought it, it didnt look that nice and wouldnt have been a good addition to our neighborhood. now its black, its windshield is new, it has ground effects, and is lookin good. do you think you could help a fellow crew member out with a tow somehow? thanks

Since I have no plans to go to medford with the tow truck anytime soon, about all I can do is call Star Towing and try to get a lower rate from them. Stay away from Dick's towing . They stink and are way over priced. You should do alright by yourself, Just call around and let me know what the prices are if there too high I'll give it a shot.
