The Drags @ Evergreen, you guys missed out!
Yeah, some more of you guys should come out to these! It was totally awesome, nice to see the track dominated by GM machinery.
There were a few Mopars/Fords/Nissan's in the mix but the General and his wonderfull examples of muscle were out in force
I have over a hundred pics to upload but thats gonna have to wait till I have a network again. Its only an 1/8th but is soo much fun and the track set up is quite interesting. The corner after the 1/8th is fuuuuuun stuff.
I ran consistant 9.9's all night (my traction sucks) and made it into round 2 of brackets cuase the semi broke out
Derek (dudelovett) was running 9.6's all night with his nice brand new tires. Sucks he had to blow out a bit early and couldn't hang arround with Aaron and me for a while. I'll definetly be trying to make another drag event out there this year
The fastest dude there was running 6.3's in his first gen Camaro. There was an old Buick GSX that was trailered in and looked like a show car... He did the best/biggest burnouts with the most smoke and had lame traction. It was well worth the 20 bucks to race and the pits were like a car show with some sweet cars and trucks. So hope to see more of the crew out there next time
Jess

actually the guy in that 67 camaro was running consistant low 6's... 6.2, 6.113 (redlighted on it though) and 6.335...
There were some insane cars there... Jess has pictures

Next dates are 9-9, 9-14, and 9-16
I'm going to shoot for all three in the Z hopefully... Good birthday = 2 days of drag racing, hehehe
Hope a lot more of cascade can agree on and come on one of those dates, we could have a class all to our own and do eliminations or sumfin, LOL
Hopefully everyone can do it... it'd be sahweeeeet

1) There was a Vette there that was getting whopped by everything he raced! A trailered in car too. He was slower than me, Yay! I'm faster than a Vette!

2) There was a early 90's looking GT Mustang with street slicks, he got out in front out of the hole (me and my bad traction) but I was starting to run him down toward the end
For being on slicks vs. my really really bad cant even launch from idle with out spinning tires he barely edged me out. Jess
