Hey Rosh...
Hey Rosh...
Trying to figure out what I need to pack into the car. I got the tent and sleeping bag, do I need to try to figure out how to fit my bbq in there, or do you have that covered?
Also about food, do I need to pack enough for the weekend, or are you planning trips which include food stops? Are we going to be near any stores? The reason I ask is it would be easier to pack some, and buy the rest down there if that fits the schedule.
How much is it for the camping spot? Do we need exact change? What is the going price for gas down there?
I'll post in this thread before I leave this evening. I'd be nice if I knew how to get ahold of you when I get down there late tonight.

Ok, this is the way it is... I still have a couple of hours of work, and I still have to replace my drivers seat with the one I just bought the other day (I've cleaned it, it just needs installed), plus I need to pack. At this point I think I am going to wait, get some sleep, and leave around 5am or so tomorrow morning. So that means you don't have to look for me tonight. I think this will be better and safer, though I'd love to make it down there tonight.
As I replied in the "9 day" thread:
Oh WOW!!!!!
I've had it marked as this weekend on my calendar for some time. I would have left and gone down, too. I never bothered to count 9 days from the 13th = the 21st. Thanks for telling me, now I have time to get ready for NEXT weekend
Well, you can answer the questions in my first post above anyway...

I have the BBQ covered, you wont need money for the camp spot, because, well, there is no charge.
You can buy food now, or when you get here, we wont be to far from a store.
Gas is... $1.58 or so for 92 in Bandon, and like $1.83 for 92 octane in Port Orford!! The closer you get to California, the crazier it gets...
On a semi-unrelated note, I got a job today.. and they scheduled me to work friday-sunday this week. Im hoping I can switch with someone or something. Ill get it figured out anyways and let you guys know...
Oh, and John.. which camaro you bringing down?!?!

), and besides it is a camping trip. Meeting our fellow crew members in person is the best part, the cars are just a bonus. Actually, if I had something like that to drive I probably would, but noooo... I just own thirdgen Camaros and musclecars

Sorry to hear you can't make it this weekend Lance. However just because we like you, we all got together and decided to postpone the gathering until next weekend when you could make it.
