I watched import drags on espn

now i must go stab my brain with a bullet...

Pro FWD

the espn guys were trying to make it sound interesting

they failed

then they had some losers dancing to crappy happy hardcore music that wasn't even worthy of being called techno

I could just imagine a raver listening to that and having their heart explode because it was too fast...

ESPN has sure gotten craptacular since I last watched it (that was like 5 years ago)...

"Yeah... lets watch angry screaming bumblebees wrapped in fiberglass n stuff trot down a race track ... and lets make it sound cool!! yeah... that'd be neat... "

man... that shyt was so full of SUCK its not even funneh...

I'ma go puke now...

Sounds cool. Maybe I should get rid of my Camaros and get one of those, since mine won't run anywhere close to those kinds of times.

And lose the ability to have a good looking, street legal car?

Those kind of times are attainable if you pour thousands of dollars into it.

Or if you're one of those scumbags that do the above, and write it off to the IRS as a "business expense" because you do work for an import shop.

It's really sad how many loopholes can be abused when it comes to tax laws.

My only question to this post is

W H Y

hehe

When I went to Bremerton in May, I raced an import honda that ran 12.96, I beat him with a 12.80. So what's my point? I can drive my car every day, stock engine except headers, exhaust, and supercharger. I paid 6K for the car and 3K for the supercharger = 9K total investment. He had wheelie bars on it? why? its front wheel drive for Peets sake! He probally paid over 15K for the rice rocket stock and then with the turbo and all other mods....OMG>>>> I have to put a new motor in my Z and It's gonna cost me another 2K. AFR heads, mild cam, forged pistons and rods and I'll be in the 11's for sure! I just don't see the point of making a slow car fast for a hefty price? Espeically when you can make a fast car that has 10X the potential for a fraction of the cost Just my opinion and that's why I say....I don't see the point

I don't see the point either...

all the cars had wheelie bars...

they should put them in the front of the car instead.... it'd make more sense

I saw a show once where the dude had nuematic (spelling?) wheely bars on his Integra that pushed down to keep more of the weight upfront and minimize weight transfer to the back... FWD sucks...
