Since Tuesday.....my collage and all its campuses have been raising money to give to the People of New York....I know its not alot but it will help..... $17,459.00 CDN. Also I dedicate this song to the terrists......

That's awsome I'm sure NY needs all the help they can get! As far as the Disaster Releif team, there is no need for it now, they have plenty of resources. Also, it seems most of the victims are fatalities

 

That's nice you participated in the fund raising effort.

 

Most of the money was donated by the hundereds .....and most by small businesses....I didnt have any money to donate but I hope it helps....I'm pretty sure it will though.

 

Yeah my HS is sending a card in support...no money though cause we have none are selves... Like donations were taken up for the stamp..

 

Where I work (Zellers) is offering the opportunity to customers to donate their HBC Rewards points to the families of NY. I'm not sure exactly what they can cash points in for (food? clothing? furnishings?) but every little bit counts

 

my work sent a bunch of food baskets and such

 

The Department of Defense had a special request for 4 John Deere dozers with Weldco-Beales blades (my company built the blades)
