Cast your vote! The Cascade crew is on the list with the best Firebird of the board (QwkTrip) and naturally when they post a Camaro list Blue502 will be there. So support the crew and vote for Blue502 and QwkTrip! hehe.

Besides, you can't let some malformed pig nosed in need of a huge kleenex ram-air II hooded car win. That whole 2 foot tall nostril thingy is just NASTY.

Hey, I really like FyrBrd's car. I love the big schnoz. But I still like Jon's car better, and so it got my vote.

I appreciate your vote but I'd like to explain why it's an "honest" vote and not just the crew sticking together.

Throughout my time on this board I've been VERY careful to never compare my car to someone else's car because the disperity between the two would be so great that it would appear as though I'm just a bully picking on the little guy. There are maybe 3 to 4 people on this entire board who know how my car is built. Ya, everyone knows it's got a big block but that's just wow-wow info that impresses the average guy. Very few people actually understand and appreciate the fine details. Let me assure you, as is, the QwkTrip car is simply bad to the bone. The car is just baaaaaaaad... and it goes way beyond the engine. It's a complete package. Even as a project car sitting in the garage it can collect an "honest" vote.

It comes down to which one would you rather own? The 10 second street car that's not quite on the road (but is a reality) or the 15 second poser that tries to look like a 10 second street car. I think the answer is obvious.

I know the time, effort, and quality of the pieces Jon has put into his car. It's his attention to the finer details that got my vote. Everything in Jon's car is thought out and works together to make a 10 second street car that doesn't have to slow down for the turn at the end of the strip.

Besides, the whole pig nose screams riceboy to me.

Exactly. I have paid very close attention to what Jon has done to his car, he might not realize just how close. His car is very well engineered, and I have changed several of my plans based on what he has done, or based upon other information that he has found and let people know about. Jon and I are going about things slightly differently in that he has chosen to tear his car down and experiment, and redo that which doesn't work, and I have chosen to acquire my parts with the intention of installing everything at once, so as to still have a car to enjoy in the meantime, and also because I haven't seemed to have as much disposable income the last couple of years. Hopefully Jon will have worked out all the kinks by the time I am able to afford the remainder of the parts I still need to purchase, so I can take advantage of his experience without having to redo much myself I just wish I had the courage to put a blower on there too (but I don't, and I won't). Hopefully, in the next couple of years we will both have completed cars that will knock everyones socks off.

Of course I voted for Jon's His car is simply bad ***, I'm glad I've been able to see him push it in and out of the garage a time or two (think I might have helped too) Just too bad he has to go with a bore-amatic

You think I should I just take the liberty of starting the Camaro contest? Nobody seems to be initiating it.

Go for it, and just for fun you should list only Cascade Crew members cars in the poll
