hehe I got myself a Black 92 Z28... L98.

Only thing is that the battery drains itself quite fast... like every car ive had, goddamn electrical problems.

It has an alarm, but the guy cut the wire since he couldnt turn it off... possible problem. but back to topic, aside from that I got a couple of air fresheners and new tires!

Now all ive got to do is sell the 91 Z28.

Nice looking car, lots better than the other one. What was the selling price?

You'll have to isolate the circuit draining the batter, assuming of course that the battery itself is not the problem.

new battery, gonna have to go through it all one by one.

The price ticket was 2600... working everything hehe, wierd to have power seats, mirrors, windows, hatch, and A/C lol.

Having the ECM go into "learn" mode everytime the car is started would suck. Drop in a spiral wound red-top, check for higher than normal voltage drains with digital VOM.

Yeah, the car runs pretty good, aside from using up lots of gas, I have yet to change the oil etc, gonna do that today. Came with the rear brakes totally worn out and maybe 10% left on the front. My Dad had the rear brakes re-done, along with the tires too, and told me that the front brakes were all up to me. So, what suggestions would you have for front brakes? (got discs all around.. a first!)

Oh yeah, noticed something cool today, the cats were taken off by the previous owner, cut off and replaced with pipes hehe. Not too sure what kind of muffler it has though.

How well does your parking brake work? Mine won't hold after slight throttle tip in.

The parts store clerks always recomend ceramics but I like semi-metallics. Never tried ceramics, but if they dust a lot less like they say, it might be worth it. I hate taking off my front wheels every few weeks to clean 'em off completely. Maybe non-pontiac wheels are easier though.

The fronts might need new rotors. You probably won't need new calipers but if you do, rebuilding them is cheap and easy, but everyone says the reman's are almost as cheap and even easier.... Just don't buy loaded calipers, go research a pad that has the characteristics you want and get them.

Personally, I haven't tried many different of pads but I like Bendix. Tried them based on recommendations on the suspension board. Their new line is something like 'TitaniuMetallic II.' It's got some blue-striped crap and yada-yada but I just read about them a week after buying the "regular" TitaniuMetallic. I love them so far, so if you try them, see if you can get the "II's" instead of the older stock, since the "II's" are the model replacement. Also, you get a free replacement set if they wear wrong or wear out after you register them.
