Well, I had a custom prom burned for my car, as I have added a Stealth Ram,and all the other usual bolt ons.

I went to swap it out, and turns out the car had a hypertech chip in it already. I don't know anything about it, it wa in the car when I got it. There are a few numbers on it, I can get off if it helps.

I will say, the car ran strong with it, and the stealth ram, and never tripped the SES light after the swap and removal of the egr valve and 9th injector.


$50 takes it, and it is being kept in a GM antistatic bag and box that the factory chip is kept in.

did you get the numbers off it? If you can get me more info on it like does it disable the VATS, EGR, Or speed limiter? and what chip it is exactly I might shoot you on offer on it. It will have to work in my 1988 GTA with the L98 auto combo though for me to buy it.

 

It will work on a 88 L98 auto as that is what it came out of. I will get the numbers for you, I gave them to another person but had no intrest so I did not post them.

I do not know about anything else as the chip was in the car when I got it.

I did run my car with the stealth ram, without EGR 9th injector, Air pump, and it did not trip the check engine light.

well my birthday is tomorow and I think Im going out tonight and possably tomorrow as well so if youll just post them here or email them to me at madmeridius@hotmail.com that would be the best route that way Ill be sure to get them and we can go from there, I would like to have the numbers to see if I can figure out which chip it is, they made two kinds for our cars. I have done research and Im almost positive it wil work in my car but Id first like to see which chip it is for sure before I buy it.
