Looking for an engine

Where can i find a used tpi engine ? I need to rebuild my 305 tpi but i hope to find a replacement instead since its so time consuming to rebuild an engine. Im hoping to find a 350 or a 305 shortblock and they must be willing to ship the engine to sweden.

I hope somebody can help me. A used tpi engine in Sweden will cost me almost 3000 usdollars and the goverment wont let me use a new crate engine.

Man just order a GM Quest Engine for $1500 do a search and you will find many web sites that sell engines real cheap. The best site I know is Ebay for stock 350 engines. That Tpi will fit any SBC engine up to 1996 except for vortec and LT1 engines. Some engine heads require a little intake work to get it to fit not much though any kid can do it.

Scanie is from sweden so he have to pay maybe 400-500$ (?) in shipping and perhaps wait 3-4 weeks before it arrives. Then we have to pay taxes, 25%, on the value+shipping then on top of that custom fees, approx 5%.......

so 1500$ is more like 2500-3000 when it gets here

and the gas in 5.8$/gallon now and climbing

Nope but im in no hurry since i wont remove the old one untill the summer is over.
So theres plenty of time to find something or if i decide to rebuild the old one.
How good is the book "How to rebuild your smallblock" ?
I never done that before so i need a good book that tells me how to .

if you just want another 305 I have one coming out of my 87 Iroc (just the shortblock with heads, I am keeping the intake and carb.) I would sell cheap like $125 or something I would be willing to ship as long as paid for upfront and all funds cleared. Let me know ran real good and only had around 72k miles.
