My beautiful Green 1991 GTA 350 L98 (only 40k miles) was stolen and then recovered by police.
The thieves stripped out the engine and Mags. Fortunately no body or interior damage.
No insurance.
I'm putting it back together. I need help as I have some limited funds and twins on the way.
I need a 91-92 speed density plenum and manifold. Would pay for a used TPIS bigmouth manifold and plenum.

Also need: EGR valve, intake tube, air cleaner box, AIR smog pump, Both Front accessory brackets. Original manifold bolts.


Have some parts to trade: NEW Lexan T-Tops, Starter, Hood,
Gas struts, Fuel rails, 1989 Firebird Computer, Harness and many 1989 parts. A/C compressor.
Will pay all shipping charges.

I just said that because those style tailights fetch for good money and are hard to find.Sorry man

 

Those tail lights of yours sell for more than the TPI your missing on ebay.I dont think the guy was making fun at all.If they would have stolen them you would have a helluva time finding a new set.I have been looking for 3 years now and everytime i find some in a decent price range they are either already sold or the person decides to get more for them due to all of the emails he gets

 

I have a set of ported/ hogged (what ever you really want to call it) slp runners and upper/lower intake. it was off my 88 so yes, they are maf but, that can be plugged. and the intake will bolt right up since it uses the same pattern.


I think the only things I don't have are the throttlebody and the bracket for the cables. let me know I live about hour south of milwaukee. plus they are polished.

 

First, I may of over reacted. I was unaware of The value of GTA taillights. I though he was being a wise acker. sorry
I am assuming you guys only mean The GTA style and not the regular style. Please Clarify.
As I think I know where I can foget the regular style tail lights but not the GTA style.
I Guessing Year One or GM does not have them ???
My info I thought I knew is apparentally outdated. I used to know EVERY detail of my Cars and the Parts sceen. Finding out things have changed. I need to know.
I was one of the first 100 members of this website. Got married and kids then came back. Man, how things change.

I have always been the one, the only FirebirdJim.
I think whe used to exchange email in the black board days. I wrote the original articles on cooling systems Mods and repairing armrests.
Then their was a system crash or somthing the site was down for a few days and I think all articles were lost. Not sure.
Also, I find being referred to as a "Junior member" a misnomer. Can you fix this ?

NOTE : I am not a junior and my member is none of your business. hahaha

I perfer to trade theNEW OEM, Lockable Pin type, T-tops for somthing(s) I need. I paid big to get these perfect T-tops, then sold my old car. They are NEW as in New old stock and still in the original OEM box.

Sure you don't need some slightly used (4K miles) Holley 24# injectors in swap for those T-tops?

I've also got an EGR from my 91 Formula with about 3K miles on it that I can't use with my 383's heads.

Might have an air duct as well, though if I do it will have a hole drilled in it over by the filter down turn to handle a relocated IAT sensor.

Also got a NIB Hurst brushed aluminum T-Handle to fit the T-5 shifter with the electric button on the side for nitrous/line lock/whatever.

I'd also be willing to swap all of the above for those T-tops for my 91 Formula that we chatted about previously....

Got some slightly used aluminum 1.6 roller rockers (brand unknown) with some small rub marks on the bottom where the heads weren't clearanced quite enough for them (but I don't think it's hurt them and it doesn't show when installed).

Also got a 2 year old OEM Firebird center console from a non-daily driver with a non-power 5 speed shift plate that only needs an ashtray cover (corner got broken off).

Can offer pix of all of this as well if desired.
