i need a flywheel or a bell housing cuz i am wondering if a stock 10 inch flywheel out of a early motor pre 80 with a 2 piece rear main will fit inside the stock bell housing on a 91 camaro

 

Flywheel should fit being that chevy never changed the size of their bellhousings from the early powerglide years to present, or at least concerning Gen 1 smallblocks.....your only concern will be weather your present motor is a one piece or 2 piece rear main seal.....these are NOT interchangeable.......If you have a 2 pc flywheel you need to be bolting it to a 2 pc crank(pre 86).... it will not fit on a 91 block. A one pc flywheel(T-5) is available at most auto parts stores for around $160+......2 pc you can buy used(or new), I got one if you need it.

 

what size is teh flywheel you have?

 

The 2 pc T-5 flywheel I have measures aprox 13" in Diameter.

Dude, the flywheel will certainly fit inside the bellhousing(12 3/4 "). If your intention is to bolt it up to your 91 engine(1 pc rear main) then this(my) is NOT the flywheel for you, unless you already changed the motor to a pre 86 2 pc style.....If your engine is the original one for your car(91 Camaro), like I said this won't work for your application.

 

i need the flywheel to fit inside my original bell housing for the 91 camaro the engine is a 77 camaro engine i know the one piece rear main is different thats why i need the one you have and i was asking if it would work
