I can do $27.00 shipped on it.. OR an even 30 shipped if you want gears as well>>Not sure what your doing with it..But I have a gearing setup>>>3.27 ratio as well..dont know If you need them or not... Id like to go lower but I paid through the nose for this thing when I got it a few years ago..GM must have hidden some Platinum or something inside of it...LOL

Im not 100% sure>>>My guess is within a tooth>>But you can use the calculator on 700r4.com to find out what setup you need...
The thing is...the gear that goes on the electric vss is easy...thats a bolt..pull the vss...slide off old gear slide on new one... BUT the gear on the shaft itself is a little trickier...you must remove eveything from the tailshaft housing inclusing vss>>>remove driveshaft...unbolt tailshaft houseing...then remove the clip securing the gear..then fins a wrench that slides over the shaft and rests against side of gear...tap wrench with rubber mallet...then to install new one you put clip on shaft tap new gear on with wrench tap untill it locks into the clip..
Sorry I dont remember the wrench size I used...I just kept grabbing open ended ones till I got a good fit..LOL.. the drive gear I used on ALL ratios was RED>>> I had a 3.27 then a 3.50 and finally switched to a 3.70...each time I was able to retain the red drive gear...I was then able to just swap the DRIVEN gear off the vss with each ratio change...HOWEVER I replaced the drive gear once when I rebuilt the trans... SO I have a set for 3.27 and a set for 3.70 left.. sold the other sets..

OK I was bored>>>did you a favor...
went to this link.
http://www.700r4.com/speedoCalc/speedocalc.shtml
My car came stock with 245/50/16 tires... when I type that in and type 3.27 ratio it itells me 17 and 43 for the gears... if you keep the tires the same and change the ratio it stays the SAME 17 and 43..

yes that is the size tires i have and my car originally had a 2.78 gear so is the driven gear or what ever gear you said is red the one i have in it or the one i need or would you even know...if that makes since and what about the other gear... i didnt really understand too much u were saying but how much would my speed be off w/ the ones u got or the one thats already in the car (that u said id have to remove drive shaft etc... to get to) and the other one that u have that all u have to do is remove that bolt.

k i used that calculator and both call for a 17 tooth drive gear so does that mean all i need is the driven gear is that the easy or hard one to install?? and what driven gear do u have.

Id have to go out and look at what the tootjh count is...I had a RED drive gear...and a ???driven gear>>>I had different color ones...one set up was for a 3.27, another for 3.70.. I know which is which BUT the colors of the gears escapes me at the moment..
tO INSTALL THE DRIVEN GEAR IS easy...i POSTED IT ABOVE...there is 1 bolt..10mm I believe holding a little sheet metal retainer against the VSS...the VSS has an electrical plug going to it...easy to find Drivers side tailshaft of trans.. Loosen and remove the bolt and sheet metal retainer...PULL on the VSS...it will POP out...it may take a little prying or pulling depending on how old and abused the car is etc etc...its an o-ring interference fit of sorts as it has to seal out the fluid.. Andway the gear slides riht off the VSS and the new gear slides right on...In fact if you hold the vss with the gear pointed at the ground chances are it will Fall off on its own...That easy.. install reverse of removal..

3.23 and 3.27 will NOT Be off...the formula calls out the same gear////>>>You must understand how small of a difference that ratio is >>>TIRE wear will cause more of a change than 3.23 to 3.27... Ill count them tonight..

44 was in my car factory...thats because there is a grey line on the 3.23/7 setups...If you remember It said I needed a 43 with my setup...but GM gave me a 44...If I remember the math correctly what we actually need is a 43 and 1/2>>>The 700r4 rounds down>>GM rounds up...I could have the thing shipped to you for $9 bucks for the newer one...and yes I have paypal nwokenwood@yahoo.com

The CLIP is on the DRIVE gear>>>the drive gear is the one on the shaft...If you did not move or mess with it>>>your fine.. The lining up is more if you remove the drive gear...because if you put the clip in the wrong hole on the shaft it will not line up>>>SO with what your doing you dont need to worry about it...they will mesh and line up on their own>>>the driven gear has the luxury of being able to float if you will and mesh with the gear on that shaft...if you did not move the shaft gear your gold..
The driven gear is on the elec vss module....It slides on....There is no gasket>>Just an o-ring>>I dont have any o-rings...but unless yours is seriously FLAT or was leaking before you should be fine to reuse it...
Yeah that was a shipped price.. BUT recognize that I cant tget it shipped till probably monday>>I might be able to get it done tomorrow...Just depends on if I can make it to the post office in time...
