Hey guys I need a posi that will fit a rear end off an 82 w. a stock 7.5 rear and 323's located in GA

it's out of a 91 camaro z28 it has a 3.73:1 in it

just wanted to share with you swapping a later rear into a 1982 requires some changes to the brake lines, I ran into this when I swapped a 84 into my 82 something about 82's having standard size lines and the laters having metric.

 

can i keep the rear end that i have now and just add the posi unit to it?

 

Just make sure you get a posi with the right number of axle splines. You should have 26 spline axles...I think it's '90+ have 28 spline. I know mine has 28 spline. Just make sure you check into that.

 

I've got a posi rearend out of a 87 Iroc with 2:73 gears. Had 78000 miles. You can buy the whole thing or just the posi unit. $100.00 plus shipping for either one.
