when i got this car the weather stripping looked original (1982 camaro), and looking for some cheap, possibly used stripping for both windows and the rear hatch.

I also own an 82 Camaro with the Iron Duke. Post some pics I would like to see your car. As far as the weather stripping goes good luck. I also started looking for used stripping and I just ended up buying new GM weather stripping, it's your best bet trust me.

I have a used rear hatch weather stripping from my 87 T/A asking 15.00 shipped.

i think the pics are there. its on jacks cus i swaped the trans... dunno if it worked yet, wish me luck. any way, here are pics of my new car. if you could post pics of urs that could be cool.

reguarding that weatherstripping, i just spent 200 bucks on a new clutch, so if its available in a few weeks, let me know, id be very interested once i get some money. thanks.

I love to see 82-85 stockers with the Duke. Not many more around anymore. Keep it original.

yea... not much i can do to an iron duke. the stock 4 speed crapped out on me so i put in a 5 speed... only thing im changing. and putting in different seats from another 82 trans am.

Here is a shot of my car, as far as the weather stripping goes I found it on e-bay. There is alot of after market stuff around but I found GM. The GM stuff cost a little more but it was worth it.

hey you two, I found an iron duke in the salvage yard, most of the engine is there, any miscellaneous stuff either of you need from it, let me know on thursdays or fridays. So I can try to arrange getting down there. Gives me an excuse to go!

Honestly don't remember for sure, there are like 16 camaros and firebirds out there. If it does, what you looking for?

I am looking for any third gen without AC. I am looking for an under the steering column filler plate that holds the manual vent switches. This piece must be unbroken and have the studs behind the plate intact. I will post a pic. I can also use a dash pad.

I'll look around for those filler panels, being that I'm in Florida though may not find any. I only found one good dash pad out there and sold that last week.

hey, thats cool. i know is ALOT to ask, but does it have a pressure plate? the one i got with my clutch kit for my t5 swap is way to different, so i need a new pressure plate so the clutch will dissengage. if there is, that would be so very excelent. just let me know.

I did take the manual shifter trim plate from it because it was good, and the transmission was missing. I can look and see if it is still there, what are you looking to spend and I'll see if they'll sell it cheap enough. Sometimes they price things too high but sometimes they are fair, partly depends on how many goodies I buy at once!

im thinking around 30 would be best. i just got a friggin parking ticket for 35 bucks, and so the cheaper the better. if its there... and you can get it for 30 +/- 5 or so, that could really help my car.

Well guys, the whole car was gone! I asked about it and they said if you can't find it, we crushed it! Jerks! I did go back around and checked all the others, every car was either a 2.8 or a V8 and every single one had AC. Sorry about the hope.

Any chance a 3.1 pressure plate will work? I highly doubt it but I do have one from my '91 with just about 4 or 5000 miles on it.
