Yeah, i will get a pic. Is the dipstick on the pass or driver side on your car?

 

it's on the pass. side, goes into the block. attached is the one jegs has for the 82-85 camaro. one out of a firebird should be the same

Hey, I havent forgot about you, just been busy. The one in the 85 comes up to just above the top of the valve cover. I will try to get you a pic soon. I tried getting it out today but it was being stubborn. I'll have to get under the car where it goes into the block. Looks good, no rust............jt
