I'm looking for a distributor for a L(69) 305 H.O. Trans Am must be compatible with the E4ME carb, reasonable price would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've got the stock dizzy from my old 83 TA. It had a 4-barrel CC Quadrajet on a 305. Will that work for you? I'm pretty sure it will.

Hi, If the CC means computer controlled it should be a E4ME set up, The 8th digit on your VIN should also be a "G", do you know if it is a H.O. 305? If the digit matches mine it should. It should not have a vacuum advance. Is it in working order? Thanks, Kevin.

Is 50.00 U.S. shipped fair? Assuming all the wiring leads are immaculate on it? Oh, and is your 8th digit a "G" on the VIN? By any chance do you accept Pay-pal? thanks dude, Kevin.

Yes, a money order will be fine, just e-mail me directly with your address, I assume the distributor was functional when last used? I need one I could just bolt in and work. If the 8th digit matches we have a deal. Thanks, Kev.

yes it worked before it was pulled. The 8th digit is a G. But its a L69(305H0) so its the same engine as the one in your sig, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. Email me at camaro@techemail.com if your still interested.

not all CCC ones(7 wire) were without the vacuum advance
i have seen many 7 wire CCC HEI with vacuum advance too
it is very random
you could run either one, it doesnt really matter, it all depends on if you want vacuum advance or totally computer controlled timing- rather than just the lack of mechanical advance that is found on the CCC HEI with vac advance
it is a common perception/assumption that all CCC HEI were without vac advance,
but it is not true
L69 and LG4 would be same unit other than possible different module number
good luck
