Power Door lock relay 88-92 firebird

 

is it the one inside the console ?

do you know part number on it ?

i have several relays from past partouts laying around, i just dont know which are which,

how many pins ?
what size relay case ?

Has six pins straight accross is by the fuse box. Have seen the one on my wife car. But don't want to take things apart to get to it.

No Pics sorry. Only have the wire conector. Adding power door locks windows and mirrors and power seats. Will do a junk yard search this weekend. ANd see if I can find one.

im not having much luck finding out anything so far yet

im basically 100% sure that this car im parting is a factory power lock car, it even has the correct rectangle cutout in the console top and everything,

unless GM changed their lock relays sometime in the later 80s away from the regular three spade ones ?

im really unsure if they may have, but i wouldnt think so

According to the board. Did a search they changed the relay in 1988 to the one that I have. Go figure.

So updated post to 88-92 door lock relay

 

I could snag you one from the local junkyard if you're interested. There's an 89 RS in the yard with factory power locks. I wouldn't want much for it. Just shipping and a few bucks for the part itself. Let me know, Pat.

I can relate to the swap you're doing. My RS only had power locks to start out with. I added power windows , mirrors, and seat to mine a couple of years ago.

Found one from another member on the board. So now I will buy some new window motors. Going to do the swap in march or april. When work slows down.

Do you need anything else for your car? I am parting a '90 Formula which was rear-ended, and have a perfect car from basically the doors forward. One window is stuck, but I think the motors are fine and the window just is off it's track.
