Anyone have a 58mm throttle body in excellent condition? Need one for a later year. I can't remember the year break but the car is a 1990 Z28, 5.7.

i might have one in a little while. im trying to buy an hsr and he might not wanna break up the package. i got an accel 58 right now though, and the hsr will come with a holley (i believe) 58. so ill let you know...otherwise, ttt.

What condition? Can he tell you the miles? Will it work with a 1990 Z28 with 700R4? I believe the TV cable attachment for is different between the earlier TPI third gens and the later versions.

well i do know that it has 1k on it, and mine has about 25k on it. i assume his is in good shape and i know mine is. even if the tv cable attachment is different, im pretty sure you can reuse your bracket anyways, but i really cant recall there being a difference.

So what I'm hearing is your going to keep the better of the two throttle bodies and peddling the other. That's cool. I'm definetly looking for something in excellent condition, that will give me many miles of trouble free service.

 

what kinda trouble can a throttle body really give you? and also, the one i am keeping i figured out is only a 52, but i think it should be fine.
