Re: Everyone post pics of your power adder.
Posted this in another thread, but thought I'd share it here too
Mine is still in progress, and I haven't even started a thread on here yet (SORRY!) But here are a few pics of how it is turning out so far. Goal is to keep A/C along with all other amenities. I'm pretty happy with how things have come out so far. Hope to have it running within the next few weeks!

Turbo is mounted to the chassis with a mount I built and has a thick rubber cushion between it and the car, and I have also installed flex sections in the hotside (yes they are the specific ones designed for pre turbo piping...I installed the wrong ones first LOL) to allow for some give/flex between the turbo and the engine. All of the hotside piping is now wrapped with Lava wrap and I will also be covering various hoses and wiring with heat reflective tape and/or firesleeves to help with heat control. The part of the hotside that runs from the collector over to the driver's side header is removable with two v-band clamps which allows easy access to the front of the engine for servicing the belt and/or water pump. I'm also running dual electric fans off an LT-1 4th gen car.

That's the same 142 baby-blower I have on my bored-over and rebuilt LG-4. I also added a Snow Boost cooler meth/water injection system. Those blowers come with a plug just below the carb base that fits water/injection nozzles perfectly.

Re: Everyone post pics of your power adder.
Update to my setup: It's together, running now, and I got to spend some time on the dyno with it!

At 15 PSI it put down just over 400 HP and about 470 TQ at the tires, but my 255 LPH Walbro was running out of steam and fuel pressure fell on its face once full boost hit. There's lots more potential there once I get my new 400 LPH pump in the tank this spring

Supercharger bolted to intake.
Love the way it looks. Didn't plan on putting a hole in the cowl, but I had the hood when I had the 383 sbc in it. Once I did this 355 sbc (bowtie block), the supercharger would not stay hidden, lol. It gets quite a bit of attention for a daily driver.

Have you ever hit up a track yet to see what the 1/8 or 1/4 mile times could be?

Re: Everyone post pics of your power adder.
Sunday as long as I still have a rear end I'm hoping to make it to the 1/16th mile. Fortunately the new rear end does have an LSD at least and I have some Yokohama Advan street slicks that will hopefully hold when the boost comes on.

This is my power adder but it's just starting. I have the engine and transmission out of a new CTS V with only 1200 miles on it. Will be posting a thread as things move along.

Re: Everyone post pics of your power adder.
I finally have the build complete minus tossing on the hood, driveshaft loop and tuning. I going to go start tuning the part throttle...exc all day saturday.
Its a 3.1L/3100 hybrid engine. Alot of time into this set up but I got high 12s out of the old set up (13psi) which was a stock 3.1L bottom end so im hoping for low 12s this time arround on the same moderate boost.

Storage Shed Fresh. It was used a few times and then removed and tossed on a shelf. The dirt track racer had an issue with over shooting the corners and landing in the parking lot a few hundred feet from the track.
