Advice on my setup...

Ok, so I had some turbo manifolds and was going to go with a single turbo setup, but i instead sold one of the manifolds (the other is still for sale if anyone's interested) and decided to go supercharged.

So, anyway, I found a deal on a 600B procharger and bought it. I have some 24lb injectors, sitting around waiting for some power before they need to be used. 2 core intercooler with the procharger. And my mods are listed below.

So, guys, since I saved so much by buying the procharger, does anyone have any thoughts on what I should do next (say for under a grand)? Also, should I install the 24lb injectors, or save them for later? I am going to be using the procharger FMU (unless everyone thinks that a superfueler would be the best way to spend the $$)

Thanks

Jon

I like the FMU and if you already have it why buy something different?

Oh, it was just a thought, i just want input

And your input was good.. so, so far I have to keep the FMU and not buy a superfueler... should I use those 24 lb injectors I have?

Aside from price, what was your reason for going with an FMU instead of the superfueler?

Well, for me, price will be the only reason I use the FMU instead of a superfueler.

Carroll superchargers makes it, and it retails for around $700 or so.... It's definitely a superior unit to any stock FMU that comes with low buck supercharger kits, but it's so expensive. It is the extra injector thing , and Willie has it on his 305.

It'd be nice to prevent a little detonation and without running the overly rich condition i'll be running from having 24 lb injectors on my 305.

I could have sworn that I found it for ~$350. I wonder if that was for the bare bones kit or if I was misreading the ad. It looks like a very nice unit though.

I wonder if there is any way to adapt an APEXi fuel controler to the f-body. It just ties into a few of the ECM wires and adds what the engine needs... any thoughts?

I was curious about that too. I saw one recently and people have been requesting them more and more. we had a guy with a SHO and an S-trim that had one make 425-450 hp on our dynojet, it really got me wondering. oh, and watch out for a white SHO with tinted windows with a whine in the denver area, I dont think my ego could handle being romped by a SHO.
