Nitroused track times...slow?

I ran my car at the track for the first time since the NX install.

With the 150 shot along with the mods in my sig:

60'......1.981
330'....5.483
1/8.....8.380
MPH....84.80
1000'..10.875
1/4.....12.982
MPH....109.25

What do you guys think? I think that's a little slow for that much spray. I hit nitrous at the beginning of second gear on this run. I tried to hit it in first but I ran slower: 13.3@106 (plus I think my bottle is near empty now. I checked my fuel pressure and its set at 44 psi, but I think that's still too rich. I am using 62 Nitrous/35 fuel. You help is greatly appreciated.

Kyle

If your car is running around 14.4 off the bottle then it would be about right. Also how much traction did you get. Need more information. What was bottle pressure. Are you heating the bottle ect?

What makes you think you are running too rich on the nitrous?? Do you know how to read a sparkplug correctly? It is better to be a little rich than lean. Like Chris said, you need to provide alot more information.

I have the fully automatic bottle heater that comes with NX GenX-2 kit. It heats the bottle based upon bottle pressure - Nitrous was a constant 1000psi (not sure about throughout the run, though. I have a purge and I purged the Nitrous to make sure my engine was recieving liquid nitrous. My nozzle is about 7 inches in front of the throttlebody. On my second pass, however, I only clicked off a 13.3@105 mph - bottle near empty. Could it be that I was getting air in the lines along with the nitrous on the 12.9 run?

I am going to dyno tune my car with the Nitrous usig a wideband O2 on the 22nd. That should give me alot more horsepower and still allow me to remain safe.

P.S. Fuel Hiccups are not a concern, as I have a fuel pressure safety switch installed - My Nitrous will cut out if fp drops below 35 psi, but I will raise that limit to 40 psi.

Thanks again
Kyle

well you seem to have everthing you need and used properly. After looking at your times again I think it is pretty accurate. Run it again with a full bottle and bet it will be a little better.
