Oil Line Plumbing Idea from Car Craft

I was reading an old car craft, the 780 hp 7.4 liter they built. Basically its just a GM crate 454 with a Cam and a Vortech supercharger. Anyways, they called Vortech about plumbing their oil pan, and vortech suggested to them that if they could get away with it, to plumb the valve cover for the oil return line. I thought this was pretty cool, as most people stear clear of the P600B and the Vortech kits because they are not standalone. I am sure this has been posted before, figured I would anyway.:lala:

That is good to hear. I'm plumbing my oil line this week, and I think i will plumb the return line to a valve cover. They're a lot easier to get at than the pan! I can remove them also.

No kidding, I never liked the idea of punching a hole in the oil pan while it is still on the car. Oh well.
