Roots or Cintrifical

ok i have a 355 right now and really most of it is stock, soo i will be building a new 355 with all the stuff i wanted in the begining, forged bottom end, nice cam, demon carb, Edelbrock Performer Air Gap intake, and AFR 190 heads.

but i want boost, so what should i go with??

Vortech carbed cintrifical supercharger

or

Weiand Roots style supercharger, i like the vortech because of hood clearance and it runs cooler on a daily driver, plus its cheaper.

what do you think, post polls, ideas, and pictures.

i would stick with the old school except for the fact that In my opinion, you have GOTTA be fast to have a big shiny blower sticking out of the hood.

i think a roots would make for a killer street car, you would have SOOO much torque.

BTW Sean, do your parents know you want more power?

i though they were concerned with what you have being too fast for you

C-e-n-t-r-i-f-u-g-a-l -Centrifugal-

Sorry about the nit picking, but it was bothering me.

Unless you want to make a ton of power on a screaming engine. I'd go with roots. like everyone says, it's basically idiot proof and gives good driveability. Downside is it's not as efficient as the centrifugal blowers and takes up a little more space. The best thing about a roots blower is that it's draw through instead of blow through.
