Super ram with nitrous plate problems

89 firebird, I am running a superam with a nitrous plate after the throttle body. I am having problems fitting the air inlet elbow from the throtle body to the maf sensor. I have cut it down alot and it still wont fit correctly. any ideas on what i could do?. Could i use a trick flow lt1 air inlet elbow from summit, I thought I have seen a picture on this board with that set up, but maybe not. any suggestions?

I used a piece of 3" PVC from the MAF to an accordian piece from an IROC. Worked great

Look at the pic in my sig for some suggestions. You can buy the 3" pipe at any decent hardware store, and the rubber inlet piece can be ordered from GM for like $7, just order the one for an 88 IROC.

THis picture I'm using an NX fogger nozzle. When I used the stock TB I had a NOS plate behind it and it fit exactly the same cause the LPE TB is real close to the same thickness as a stock TB with the NOS plate
