Walbro in-tank TBI pump regulated down to 6 PSI with a return line and a voltage regulator to lower pressure during idle and cruise.

thing will last forever, and you dont even hear it.

Aeromotive A1000 - $290 new, cheaper on ebay
Custom voltage regulator - keeps pressure around 25 psi
Aeromotive fuel regulator (boost referenced)

Well, I use a Holly red pump. My car (1984 Z28 carb 355 150 hp NOS) has an elect. pump (3 psi) in the fuel tank to prevent vapor lock. This pump was installed by GM under warrenty. So I removed the drivers side rear seat and bolted the Holly pump on the body just above the rearend. At WOT a micro sw. mounted on the Q-Jet sec. actavates the Holly pump. I still use the stock chev mech. pump. The mech. fuel pump would not pull fuel through the Holly pump so I installed a Ford sol. (N.O.) that is used for switching tanks on trucks and is actavated by the same micro sw. This allowes fuel to bypass the Holly pump and just use the mech. pump and 3 psi elect. pump for normal around town driving. I still use the mech. pumps return line but I have a sol. on the return line that shuts off the return line at WOT. You guessed it, the same micro sw. shuts off the return line sol. That same micro sw. will also shut down the A/C compressor and the elect. rad. fan.
