Bought a 24' enclosed trailer and picked it up this weekend. We also installed wilwood's HD front brake kit, PA Racing coilover conversion and tubular a-arms. I LOVE the adjustable struts! Lowered the car along withthe 4th gen Z28 springs we added in the rear.
I know its not power adder related, but I talk to so many people here thought Id give a scoop on the ride. Hope to take it to the track Wednesday and start catching up with Tory.

Actually I don't think that Dadge trucks are too bad we had a 97 I think Ram. The only thing that I didn't like was there was no room in the back for passengers. As I frequently was a passenger.

Looks good Guido!
Just out of curiosity, what springs did you go with in the front? I ended up with a 200# spring, just wondering if you had the same. Nice trailer! that awning is a sweet option also.
BTW. good luck catching Tory! A few suspension adjustments, and a good track, he will be well into the 8's!

You will be quite suprised how little cranking up on the coil nut will affect ride height. For every inch I adjust my coil overs it only changes the height about 1/4". It does, however, change the preload on the spring, and makes the front end come up at a faster rate.
I had thought along the same lines as you, but in actuality, if the spring is right for the car, you will only compress the spring with your adjustment, not adj ride height. A longer spring, or even a heavier spring is needed to adj. ride height.
I hope this makes sense how I explained it. Don't get me wrong, you can adj. ride height slightly, but you shouldn't be able to change it 1 for 1 (1" adjustment on the nut for 1" worth of lift).
Let Us know how you make out at the track.

Ideally, Id like to keep the height where it is. The lower the better. It scrapes the air dam even pulling it out of the trailer. Not badly but I dont want to do a wheelie and rip off my intercooler tubing either since it goes underneath the lower core support and through a hole cut in my air dam. LOL
I will likely leave it as it sits for the first time out to the track. WHich is shaping up to be Friday now.
Oh well, better late than never huh?

Looks good Guido. I bought a set of used AJE coilover struts. The guy was running a small block. He started off with a set of 175# springs but had to step it up to 200# to try a settle down the big wheelstands. I'm sure his car was lighter in the frontend being that it was a nitrous SBC. Didn't have the extra weight of an intercooler and the turbo. What size tire do you have on the front? I like the way it fills the fenderwell nicely.

jefft emailed me about that too.
15 x 10 Weld Pro Stars with 5.5" backspace. The tires are 27 x 11.5 15 Hoosier QTP.
I had to cut off the bump stops and hammer in the front of the inner wheel well to get them to fit. I would like to change to a 15 x 10 rim with 6" backspace to get it further under the car but I fear that I will have to mini tub if I do that and I want to do some racing so going to see how these tires work out for the time being. I have a set of 28 x 10.5 MT ET Drags but want to save them for when I put the new rims on.

How are the Coil overs on the street? I have the PA X Member sitting here and am about to order the A-Arms and Coil overs. My car will be a street car more than a track car and wondered how they handle on the street?
