I was hoping I wasn't about to see pieces of the motor on the ground when i read your topic. Glad to see it was only a connector! If you haven't already bought the right connectors, I have a few sections of 3" and 4" reinforced silicon connectors I could part with pretty cheap. Let me know, I can cut off however much you need.

actually I just hope it didnt cost too much, I see what appears to be a rubber union but the way it is blown eludes to it being something else?

Thanks BlownBird... but the tubes are 2.5 inch...

Hey Tom.. its just a rubber plumbing union that appparently didn't like being heated and inflated... It was the connection from the blower discharge to the IC tube, guess too much heat and pressure found a weak spot.

cheers, Bob

I'm not sure what he used to replace it, but if you go to a transport truck store, you can get 4' lengths of radiator hose.. They are very very tough and work awesome.. Plus, it only costs around 35 bucks (canadian)... better than paying like 20 bucks per connection for the flashy colored stuff....

Cheers,
