I am not sure if anyoen has seen this but http://www.burnsstainless.com has pre built collectors with turbo flanges for sale on their webisite, I think this could make a header build up alot easier. I just wanted to share incase there is someone who hasent see it.
I also found these pics, looks liek a good siple idea:

yeah thats a motor on ebay the headers are for sale I have seen two turbo setups using variants and modified versions of these headers. I was trying to figur out what they were because they look so much like block huggers but have some serious differences (the locations of the primaries in the collector. Then it struck me. they are vette stock or vette aftermarket. the ones I saw were like them were from/for LT1 vettes but other may be too.

yould not recommend using those headers in our cars unless you were going to modify them and use them like this:

and even then the guy that built that modified his inner fender well and maybe more to get it into his thirdgen.

That a pretty good idea in that pic B4Ctom1 attached. That would probably one of the cheapest ways to do it jsut as long as it clears all the belft driven accessories. I am not planning on putting a turbo on my camaro I want to do it too my C-10 project, this is all research for me, thanks for the input soo far.
Can headers be bolted on upside down? Are the angles the same? or would a machine/exhasut place have to modify them some how?

good luck, I have considered doing the same to my very very ugly old junker trash truck just because it has a solid drivetrain and frame. I figure to L98 swap it first. Its hard to find any exhaust shop willing to modify a header, as far as turning them upside down it all depends on which header you are going to use nobody knows until they try. I might even try it with stock manifolds then go to headers later. just to make it look slower from a racing point of view.

I really want to try the inverted thing now!! If I can find a resonable priced set of used block huggers I may try it. With the truck I dotn have to worry about the low hood line or the shock towers being 6 inches away from the block, so I have some room to experiment. Well now my search is on. Im also looking for another t3 from a 87-88 thunderbird if anyone knows of one around. Ohh man Im adding this all up in my head soo much for budget twin turbo project.
