Blow through turbo setup on a modified 350
I am curious, I see a lot of turbo questions around here that get fairly redundant, but I can't find anybody else that can answer my question.
A few searches netted me anything from which turbos i can salvage from a junkyard to how to plumb the turbo, but I can't find a lot on turbo sizing. I have a 350 that makes approximately 400-425 horsepower n/a. I would like a single turbo that will give me a significant horsepower boost, and even more power when I can put some real internals in the motor. I have a fabrication guy who can make me everything I need exhaust wise. Also, what should I pay for the turbo you recommend? I have found that a lot of LT1 owners run T-76's, are these desirable?

learn to read a compressor map, then check out some turbo sites, and see what all the numbers mean.
you will need to understand like BSFC, air flow/rpm etc.
(im not saying you dont, but in case someone else reads this)
there is an excellent book from HPbooks on turbocharging, READ IT, 20$ well spent. (im cheap, so when i say a book is worth the money, i mean it)
it depends on how much power you want, how you want to drive the car, etc. as to which turbo i'd recommend, but it probably woudlnt be a t-76, (want to know why? learn to read a compressor map.)
