Using a roots as a centrifigal

I was just curious, I saw the Thunderbird on toohighpsi and was wondering if this is possible. Basically making brackets to put a roots supercharger (or two) on the sides of the motor, then making a plate to go onto the bottom to direct the boost to a carb bonnet or whatever (instead of mounting the carbs at the location that was originally intended on the blowers). Here are the pics that got me thinking:

What kind of blowers are you running, and do you have any numbers at the wheels?

You know its wierd, I have seen a ton of pics of Saturn's motor, but I hadnt looked very closely and had always thought that he had fabbed an intake to mount two eatons on top of it (again i didnt look very close ), definate brain fart on my part seeing as their is a TPI intake sitting between them . but its definately a cool concept, it would be cooler if I knew of a place to get cheap roots blowers .

Just my interpretation of Mike's setup. Oh.... theres an idea.. a crossfire intake with a new lid.. hmmm the voices.. lol

look at www.sccoa.com classifieds for used Eatons. Typically $200 will aquire one. Epray is overpriced, but once and a while get one cheap. BW

First of all, whats with the belt tension???? That aint even enough to boost up my ball sack! This radical design makes my big toe quiver as if the earth has reversed its direction of rotation. That makes my eyeballs cross and my puttananny swell up like a water soaked potatoe rubbed on a home made wash board!
