Pro Cylinder heads + Turbo by mistake...
Pro Cylinder heads + Turbo by mistake...
I recently ordered 220cc heads for my 350, making a huge mistake since they are way too big for my engine.
(Link to head specs: http://www.procylinderheads.com/223260020a.asp )
I decided adding a vortech or procharger kit to my engine would make things better since I have a 9 to 1 compression, 72cc chambers and nice flowing heads
I already have a nice cam (link: http://www.cranecams.com/master/apps...1.%20Hydraulic - It's #1) for about 8-10lb of boost... My question is, what kind of HP should I expect...? more than 400? Is this the only way I can get out of this mistake? What stuff do I need to change in my engine besides the caburator?
Thanks for any ideas or tips on this...

You can run those heads. N/A they would be too big unless it was a race motor, but with forced induction you should be alright. You'll make well over 400 ponies. With a decent sized cam the N/A version of that motor would pull down close to or a bit more than 400. Add the blower and you're looking at 500 ponies. There's a guy on here that built a 500hp 350 with a roots blower pulling down like 22mpg. Can't remember his name, but check out his thread, you might get some ideas.
