finnally powerdyne elbow

I just got my elbow from the brown truck today! I searched all over and found this elbow which is the perfect fit since the inlet side is the same as the blower outlet. and only cost me 39.00 shipped (new too) the vortech and trickflow ones in summit have a larger inlet which is ok but not really right for the S/C . none of the vortech dealers would e-mail back either
. I can't belive I found this one. its too bad he only had this one. or I would have bought another one. I talked to this guy on the phone first because my paypal was not working right at the time but I got it working, he shipped it pretty quick. good guy to deal with. the pic of it is still here.

wow good deal, very good deal. I think some home built power adder guys could use that. you could even maybe put it in the other way to hide the powerdyne emblem?

Turbo's, M90's, home intercooled vortech's, cold air's, the uses are endless. I might get one just to see what they look like.

EDIT: THERE WAS ONLY ONE FOR SALE

2 immediate thoughts on this:
- if you're capable of building a home built power adder car, aren't you capable of fabricating an inlet tube?
- hide? Just grind it off and use it however you want… If you want to maintain the cast pattern after grinding it either spray it with cast aluminum paint or you can simulate it by putting some course grit sand paper over the spot and whacking it with a hammer. Myself, I'd just grind it all smooth like I did with this housing:

I thought about making my own elbow but, I figured it would look so much better to used a premade one. also they all (vortech, powerdyne) have a wall inside and it looks like it has a very slight offset I am guessing this is to direct the airflow evenly in to the throttle body but, I could be wrong and it may just be the way I am looking at it

You've got the reason for the wall exactly right, but I suspect that it doesn't affect anything unless you're using a MAF. Either way, it wouldn't make a difference if you made one with the wall offset a little or not, just as long as it makes sure that the flow is fairly straight with the path of the elbow. Without something like that in it the airflow would tend to stick to the outside corner…
