nitrous

Secondly, it's not NOS... NOS is a brand from Holley, it stands for Nitrous Oxide Systems... this board has been over this many times... get your terminology correct before you ask questions and sound like some dumb **** boy...

Chech out www.nosnitrous.com you can learn alot there. Also www.summit-racing.com is a good place to buy.

I dont know if your car is carbed or injected, or if NOS even makes a system specifically for your engine. NOS is the brand making the most types of systems though, and I havent seen a gasoline engine yet they didn't have a nitrous kit to.

You may have to go with a nozle system, either single nozle or one per runner. This you will have to look into yourself. But as a rule of thumb, more power with multiple nozle, and more evenly distributed in the engine. Easier mounting with single nozle, cheaper to buy.

ok first do a flow master exust then do a intake manifold and larger induction get some strong heads and a good gasket and this is all depending on the size shot you want

In my opinion, You should go with a single nozzle system. I would only run no more than 100 horse shot on a stock 2.8.
NOS should have the kit that you are looking for.
As for the exhaust, if you can find a decent set of headers for a good price, they wouldn't hurt. You should probably upgrade your muffler too. But you don't "have" to. Where you would only be able to run a small shot, all the exhaust mods aren't necessary, but would definatley add to the power the motor puts out. Summit, Jegs, or Ebay would be your best bets for pricing.
I hope this helps.

not that experienced with cars? maybe nitrous isn't for you. i'd suggest learning more about your car and upgrading to better parts, and worry about nitrous or forced induction later. i'm not experienced with nitrous, but if set up and run correctly, you won't do any damage to anything. if set up poorly and abused, i'd bet you'd end up messing something up. i'm sure you could find parts to get you going faster without having to increase required maintenance. then again, i don't know what's available for v6s. i think the best advice that anyone on the boards can give you is 'don't rush into anything. your wallet might regret it.'

if you're looking for all-out performance (street or strip), then a v8 car is probably worth some serious consideration. again, i don't know what kind of aftermarket is available for v6s, but there's plenty of stuff for v8s. i don't see why you couldn't just build your engine for high boost and just have all your power come from a centrifugal supercharger. it all depends on what you want out of the car, man.

to be honest, i almost bought a v6 camaro. i just liked the body style, and didn't care at all about racing. but i managed to get a z28. it didn't take long for the speed bug to bite me
