New 82-92 Twin Turbo Headers

We are happy to offer twin turbo headers for the 82-92
F-body cars these are 1 3/4 tubes into a 1/4 thick t-4 flange. These are ready to bolt on to your fuel injected or carbed f-body car. They will fit under a stock hood and clear all ACC. on a camaro or firebird but can't guarntee other models. The plugs are all easily accesable and super easy to change. They use any turbo with a t-4 flange. This is a fast way to make some serious H.P. They come with head flange gaskets and bolts.
The price is $550.00 plus shipping email me at mike@crimestopper.com for more info and pics

Who is "we" anyway? Are you a company or someone welding them up in your garage.

More information would be useful. Perhaps some pics that we can post on the board so everyone can see them.

Thanks

No problem. For the Price those are verry nice. I deff see you selling a few sets.

Now if you can make a setup like I e-mailed you about and keep it priced right I see you selling a ton of them also.

Looks like a very nice header, Mike. How difficult is it to fit in a decent sized downpipe on the LH side? Looks like it would get pretty tight with the steering shaft, MC, etc in the way. Do you have some pics showing the installation with all the accesories on?

Huh… they look pretty nice… I hope that you don't mind some comments:
- ¼" flanges will warp. ¼" flanges will warp with normal headers, add the extra heat and stress from the turbos…
- Where are your brake lines? All my 3rd gens have brake lines on the other side of the steering shaft. Even the way you have it the brake lines are right in the middle of the area that the driver's side down pipe would run. For that matter, TPI cars have fuel lines there, and I'd imagine that that would also get in the way of the cruise control on most cars
- Um, the engine isn't sitting in the stock location… you can see it's not lined up with the motor mount in one of the pictures, and the crossbolts are out.
- The passenger side doesn't look like it would clear the factory oil cooler lines, heater hard lines/bypass valve, AIR lines, smog pump and AC…. I suspect that parts of it would come pretty close to some of the EFI engine harnesses on that side, though you can move half of it over the strut tower to the other side.
- Any provisions for wastegates?

I'm not saying that they can't be made to work, but I'd be very surprised if someone got them to work with "all the factory accessories." Put some thicker flanges on them, add some wastgate flanges, reroute some of the back primaries and reposition the flanges slightly or convert to manual brakes and you'd have a decent setup.

Mark, you said what I wanted to but I didn't want to say it. I personally get suspicious whenever I see an add for a turbo header that 'clears all factory accessories' especially on a 3rd gen f-body. That is next to impossible to do (without at least some modifications), and when they show pics with nothing bolted to the motor that throws a red flag for sure. And I certainly agree about the 1/4" flanges- think you can even weld'em up without having a warpage problem? Not trying to cut these headers up, as they do look very nice, but please show us the complete installation and explain what is required to be modified/moved. Just my $.02
