out of place but please help

im the F-body guy in the family, but my brother is trying to build something fast out of his 98 f-150 4.6L i know it is slow and he does to so we don't need any "put a chevy in it" comments, i give him enough of them. he bought a NX nitrous kit for a holley carbed car, i took the all the parts but the gas solinoid and carb plate and made him a dry kit for his 4.6 f-150, it worked a very little bit when we put my NOS bottle on it, that was half full 6 months ago. we fill up his bottle and when he goes to spray it, it cuts out completely. he told me it was bogging so i figured his platnum plugs finally gave out from the nitrous. we put autolite104's in it and when i spray it on the test drive i learn it completely dies when you hit the button and when you let off it comes back like nothing ever happened? does anyone know what i should do to his truck to make it right.
so far its 98 F-150
4.10 gears
cold air intake
true 3inch dual exhuast with H pipe (by me) with dual 40 series flowmasters
PPP chip rewrite
basically it , you spray it dies, let off the button it comes back.
its also set up before the MAF, its a 100shot jet on a dry shot. we figured it would cause some fuel inrichment from the cold N2O hitting the MAF. should we set it up past the MAF and try it like that, this is my brothers daily driver and he actually has a job (unlike me). if no one can help im going to set him up on a wet shot , that he doesn't want.

peace and please help,
Jon

You took all the parts BUT the fuel solenoid and made a dry kit? That makes no sense whatsoever.

Please tell me your kidding, yeah... you HAVE to be kidding, right?

This is the first time I heard of anyone having an idea like that.

Add N2O AND fuel after the MAF and you will have a lot less problems.

Let him stay Ford. 351Windsor's are great strong motors. Plus you could use the whole dry kit with it. :-)

Other then that, no clue whats wrong with the set up now?

no im not kidding, i used the nitrous solinoid and swithes and everything but the carb plate and fuel solinoid. it works just like a dry kit with a nozzle but i set it up to not need a nozzle. i did the same kind of thing to my tpi 305 because i ordered a kit for my carbed stroker motor that i hadn't put in at that time. it worked very well (it too was pre MAF). i got 14.2s with a stock tpi305 withi 2.77 gear 9bolt rear and stock 700r4 spraying a dry 75shot.

Might want to check out some of the Ford boards. Might have something to do with their management system.
