Will do I am just figuring out what to use right now (eh actually what I can get for cheap that will work) This project isn't meant to go fast or look pretty so if your looking for either you will have to look some where else. I figure with some luck I can have this project done by Christmas.

Do you already have the turbos?

If not I would not get t25s........if your looking for cheap stock turbos get 2 14b's from a 90-94 DSM with a manual tranny.

They are better...and probably just as cheap.

Nah I don't have the turbos yet......I was thinking 14b's but it all depends on what I can get my hands on. If I can get them I will, but if I can't then i'll just go with the t25's.

24 pph injectors will not work without a rechip.. I don't see any prom burning on that list.

From what I was told 24# injectors were the biggest you could go without rechipping......I will have to look further into this. Thanks.

Whomever told you that flat out lied. I've got a single 16g pushing anywhere from 10-15psi (right now, I really got to get that nailed down!) with 22pph, and with no chip, it runs MASSIVELY rich.

The person who told you this in the previous thread (89JYturbo) changed their opinion in that thread when I mentioned the stock injector size.. perhaps you should check your threads more often... this is why we try to stick to one thread on a topic as long as possible.

Slightly?? Uhm... they're 60% larger. Stock 3.1 injectors are a measly 15#..

Wow, that is a big difference. I didn't reaize the stock injectors were that small. In my TT L98 I went from the stock 19# units to 24# units with no problems- I just lowered the FP at idle to 38psi. Maybe 19# injectors would be the better choice.

In that case, I take back what i said - the person that told you that, was mis-informed, and in the end, correct.

But 19s are still too big without reprogramming the chip...

Why change the injectors at all with an FMU? Unless you're going well beyond what stock sized injectors can handle HP-wise, the FMU's job is basically doing exactly what you're after- compensating for boost by adding more fuel (via proprtionately increased fuel pressure under boost).

I'm guessing you're keeping boost modest given the basically stock engine you're bolting the turbos onto so I would think an FMU alone would get the job done for you, no chip reburn required. No?

I was thinking the same thing. I would think an FMU alone should do the trick for 5 or 6 psi boost. Sorry if I complicated things by suggesting those larger injectors. I should have looked into that a bit more before I responded.

Like I said in your other thread, just make sure your fuel pump is up to the task. Asking it to pump a larger volume of fuel at very high pressure will give it a good work-out.
