Thinking about a supercharger, need more info

Hi guys. After playing with the brakes on these cars for a while I'm thinking about adding a supercharger for more power easily but I need more info and gain more knowledge on them and I have no idea where to look and there's no links in any thread I've read in this forum to an info type site.

I'm looking to keep the engine mainly stock. I won't be racing or tearing down any tracks, just wanting a bit more power than the stock 63K mile L98 can give and still keep it as a good daily driver.

Anyone have a spot I can go to and learn what I need to before I just go buy one and possibly make a mistake? Any info greatly appreciated.

Ed

Thanks for the links...

I've been looking at the P1SC but Willie actually recommended the D1SC for my Iroc. Any input from any guys running a setup close to mine?

5.7L TPI/ A4, SLP headers, AFPR, and a Borla cat back. No other mods.

Thanks all.

I agree with Willie. Start with the D1SC.

As long as you don't try to run to much boost you will be fine. I think everybody that bought a P series blower ended up buying a larger one! (me included)

Thanks guys. Nice webpage, Larry. I have a few questions for ya:

1. I take it I'll have to remove my stock intake stuff for my TPI, namely the 2 air intake ducts in front of the radiator where the fog lights live;

2. What's the small white bottle in front of your radiator support?;

3. It looks like the battery is scooted forward a bit...is there a bracket for this?;

4. Besides the cold air intake you have on your car, is there a cold air intake that can work with these systems and keep the stock hood? I want a sleeper look with no aftermarket hood but I don't think I'll want to take in the hot air right above the driver's side header.

Thanks!

Ed, here ya go...hope this helps.

1. I take it I'll have to remove my stock intake stuff for my TPI, namely the 2 air intake ducts in front of the radiator where the fog lights live; just remove the plastic y and the filters.

2. What's the small white bottle in front of your radiator support?; windsheild washer bottle

3. It looks like the battery is scooted forward a bit...is there a bracket for this?; The kit comes with a bracket to help you relocate and hold down the battery

4. Besides the cold air intake you have on your car, is there a cold air intake that can work with these systems and keep the stock hood? I want a sleeper look with no aftermarket hood but I don't think I'll want to take in the hot air right above the driver's side header. You can't have you cake and eat it to...there's just no room under the stock hood.
