Hooking up fuel for nitrous on TPI

I know that I'm supposed to hook up the fuel 4AN line from the schrader valve on the fuel rail to the solenoid. But I also heard you need a special adaptor to hook it up, is this true? Or can I just hook the hose right up to the schrader valve and I'm ready to go?

You can buy the correct adapter or you can buy a "t" fitting at a plumbing store. That way you still have your schraeder valve if you need to verify fuel pressure. Thats always a very good thing with nitrous even if you have a low fuel pressure safety switch. If you don't have the low pressure safety switch and no way to verify fuel pressure you are running blind

So I can hook a #4 nitrous/fuel hose directly to my schrader valve without any type of adaptor..

the flair angle on the schrader valve will match the #4 hose?

What adaptor? the taper matches the taper in the AN4, just remove the valve insert (you'll need a shrader valve tool) and screw it on.

oh ok, so the taper on the schrader valve is the same taper as an an4, thats all I needed to know.

I've heard you need an adaptor for it. guess not.

Just also wondering how you measure the fuel pressure if you are taking extra fuel from the schrader valve?

Is there some kind of special T-piece so you can do both jobs?

Are you testing fuel pressure while spraying? If not why not just unscrew the line.

If you are then an -4 T and a femal to female gender bender, or just splice a fitting into your braded line.
