EFI roots blower anyone?

Has anyone on here used this blower? Does anyone make anything like this for non-vortec heads? This one looks intercooled, but a non-intercooled one might clear a stock thirdgen hood...

I know that, I'm wondering if anyone has strapped one of these to a vortec head equipped thirdgen.

ok now for technical stuff. How will you hook up CAI? will stock computer handle that? what about EGR and emissions/ fuel regulator?

Emissions, you'd probably be screwed, yes you could make it work with the stock ECM, you'd likely need to fab a new TB housing to bolt to the back of it and bring the TB around towards the front, and fab up a CAI.

Prolly wouldn't clear the dist or cowl.

Make it work with stock ecm? Sure by running code from a sy-ty if he's on a '730.

Save your money and buy a centrifigul.

An aftermarket coil setup would solve the distributor, or if im not mistaken it could be bolted to an LT1 using LT4 heads with no troubles, and a different tb adapter would bring the tb around towards the front and easily clear the cowl.

Why spend all that money and time on a blower with really low efficiency?

Doesn't seem very logical to me.

And I dont think it will work on LT4 heads..

Im quite sure LT4 has the same port location / spacing as the Vortec design, its been discussed in the LT1 intake threads, it should be possible to use a LT4 manifold modified like the LT1's on Vortec heads.

Some people just really want the low end torque of that setup....

I didnt say it was worthwhile or something i'd do, he just asked if it could be done.
