Procharger D1 or F1

Planning on getting a bigger blower have some ideas that some of you maybe could comment?

D1 vs D1sc - The D1 has higher step up ratio so it would be better to use due to bigger blower pulley for more traction.

D1sc-F1sc 470USD for 125 more HP is it worth it? How are the boost maps of theese two units? I think the D1 should be enough but maybe the xtra 470 is worth it?

Fuel supply, should I use the In line pump from ATI or go diffrent way?

Do you have the P1SC now? Is it not flowing enough for you?

With that combination, I would suggest the F1. You could easily run 16 - 18 psi on pump gas, more on race gas. Also you'll neeed a larger intercooler, like a 3 core sheetmetal FMIC or something.

sold the P600B so now its shopping time. HSR is on its way..

I dont think I'll need more than max 12- 15 psi on the engine, its a "street" car and will only rev 5800rpm..........

Probably will go for a 3-core IC.

If you have the extra money I would go with the F-1 for the higher step-up ratio of 5.0:1, then you could run a bigger pulley for more belt traction if your not going with cog. Just using myself as an example with my new ATI 3.4" 12 rib pulley I can make 17 PSI at 6000 rpm's but I have belt dust all over the place. I"am still experimenting with different belts and stuff, hopefully I'll have things figured out buy this next spring.

Just some info about my old 600b unit:
at 5300 rpm spinning @ 41000rpm it made 4psi of boost
(pullied to 9psi at 5500 on stock 350)

My conserne with the F1 is that it seems to be effective at high impeller rpms, meaning it has a peaky boost curve...and if I dont push the unit so hard it wont be as effective and will start buildning boost only in the upper rpm range, and this is a street car so I dont want to start making boost to late....

Will call Larry at ASSC to see what he thinks....
