Might be too tall.

Why do you want to go carb?

I've heard everyone talk about how they wanna be original in building a 305 soo much lately that either, its no longer original, or theres just a large amount of people with no common sense.

It will bolt on to the motor, but you can't shut the hood.....not even close.

I have a custom bracket made and use the Vortech 10 rib pulleys and spring loaded tensioner from the carb kit to mount my YS trim.

Do you have the p/n for the above mentioned tensioner?

Couldn't find it on their website.

Go to the install manual where is lists all the included PN's.....

Actually, I am using a tensioner off a powerstroke diesel truck....fit the belt better. that is where the air intake came from as well LOL

The carb kit bracket it too tall to work in a 3rd gen-that is correct.

We took 3 inches out of the bracket that comes in the kit, then made it out of 1/2 plate
