which injectors for my setup?

looking for a set of injectors, but i keep looking at so many setups that i'm not sure what to go with..so:

stock l98
supercharger 6-8lb pulley
non intercooled
2055 hooker headers
3 inch y-pipe, no cat, 3 inch catback

other question is, should i go with a good adjustable FMU or should i get an adjustable regulator instead. do i need a custom PROM burn? MSD boost retard?

I have a Hypertech chip and I know that advances the timing..so if i set back the timing however many degrees the Hypertech advances it, I should be back to where I need it and then adjust from there, correct?

I would go with at least 30 lbs injectors. You could get 36's then you could crank up the boost to like 12 13 lbs later.
An ajustable fuel pressure regulator with boost reference wouldnt hurt.
A custom chip wouldnt be a bad idea eaither.
an upgrade to the ignition system would be recomended. ie aftermarket coil, wires, new cap and rotor, and posible an msd box.
You can run an fmu with the stock injectors but you will need a second fuel pump in line that makes 110 psi. But if you get injectors and a custom prom you wount need an fmu.
Think of an fmu like a piggy back to your weak fuel system.
Hope that gets you going
Oh also a 255 lph fuel pump couldnt hurt.

i'm worried about doing the prom because no one around me does it and i'd have to do mail order. i've been talking with Formado Easy Prom, but i'm just worried it wont be right. they recommended 42# injectors, a 255 pump and an afpr...i have a 255 pump already...so if i add 36# injectors and an fmu, can the pump support that or do i still need an inline pump?

30 to 36 would be adiquite. My buddy has 36's on his 5.0 Mustang with an ati charger making 13 lbs of boost and hasnt maxed them out yet. If you use 42's which you can. Your car just wont idle the greatest. And it might smell rich while idleing. Dont even consider the fmu unless your not getting injectors.

First off...DITCH the hypertech>>>USELESS>>>OOPS re-read GOOD CHOICE...LOL

Injector sizing...They have some great formulas here...But you have to kind of estimate what your HP level is going to be ... but it offers some correction factors for boosted apps as well as fuel rail pressure settings...

Ive checked it against 2 of my tunes and the infor seems pretty accurate.. again the key is knowing approximately how much power youll be making..realistically.. My Guesstimate is that the 35 pound answer is about rightBut on the small side...Assuming you run about 50-55psi at the rail.. .. Im guessin 375 HP... which is undoubtedly high but I was using close to 80% duty cycle which is almost maxing out the injector. The 42 is probably the best choice and just keep the tune on the conservative side...and forget the FMU.
